DESCRIPTION:𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 \n\n\n\nThe Apostolic Old Catholic Mission (AOCM) cordially invites you to the Episcopal Consecration of our Rector\, Fr Ashley R. Deutschmann\, on the Feast of Pentecost. \n\n\n\nThis holy day\, celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Church\, provides a fitting and joyful occasion to witness the continuation of apostolic ministry through the laying on of hands. \n\n\n\n𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐲 \n\n\n\nOn Sunday\, 24 May 2026\, at 11:00 am\, we shall gather for this solemn liturgy at the Cultural Centre “Sv. Tsar Boris I – 1909”\, Bistritsa\, Bulgaria. \n\n\n\nThe liturgy will be presided over by His Grace\, Archbishop Ronald Saunders of the Apostolic Catholic Church\, who is expected to serve as Principal Consecrator. H.E. Archbishop of Serdica\, Svetoslav Vassileff\, of the Bulgarian Old Catholic Church\, is also expected to participate. \n\n\n\nWe also hope to welcome Presiding Bishop Dylan Littlefield of the Old Catholic Union of the West\, Abbot and Presiding Bishop Seamus Mac of the Episcopal Catholic Church\, and Abbot Bishop Martins Burrekoven-Kalve of the Old Catholic Apostolic Church\, Order of St Francis and St Clare\, together with other bishops and clergy whose attendance remains subject to final confirmation. \n\n\n\nOne of the great joys of this occasion is the fellowship it reflects: bishops and clergy from different traditions\, coming together in prayer\, charity\, and shared apostolic faith. \n\n\n\nTogether with the prayers of the faithful\, Fr Ashley will be commended to this sacred office in service to Christ and His Church. \n\n\n\nAlthough the consecration takes place on Pentecost\, the 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 for those bishops and clergy participating. \n\n\n\n𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 \n\n\n\nOnce the solemnities are concluded\, please do stay and celebrate with us. Tea\, coffee\, and a selection of light refreshments will be served\, including some traditional Bulgarian favourites and other treats\, as we share in the joy of the day together. \n\n\n\n𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞: 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 “𝐒𝐯. DESCRIPTION:This event marks our planned August 2026 mission journey to South Africa\, during which Fr Ashley Deutschmann hopes to ordain our ordinand\, Kerensa Nothnagel\, and to take part in related mission and ecumenical work alongside Most Rev. Rima Tamaiparea-Puki of the Reformed Old Catholic Church\, Archdiocese of Oceania. \n\n\n\nThis visit is intended to support sacramental ministry\, pastoral presence\, and the strengthening of faithful Catholic witness in South Africa.
