0.4 Programme standard and workload (what is expected of you)

This course is deliberately demanding, because ministry is high-trust work.

You are expected to engage with:

  • the teaching content (read carefully, not quickly)
  • required learning media (videos and/or written equivalents)
  • case studies (mandatory)
  • short knowledge checks (to confirm understanding)
  • written responses (to demonstrate you can act, not merely explain)

Safeguarding competence is demonstrated through disciplined decision-making, not through emotion, confidence, or “good intentions”.
