MODULE 1.3: SYNODAL GOVERNANCE & CANONICAL OBEDIENCE
Module Overview Incardination is a legal act as much as a spiritual one. It transfers the cleric’s canonical obedience to a new Ordinary (the Rector/Bishop) and a new Constitution. This module ensures the candidate understands the “rules of the road”—the Statutes and Governance Principles.
We will deconstruct the “Prince Bishop” model (absolute monarchy) and reconstruct the “Synodal” model (consensus and collaboration).
