0.2 Who this course is for

This course is designed primarily for:

• postulants, ordinands, and clergy in formation
• incardinating or transferring clergy
• bishops, priests, deacons, chaplains, and ministry leaders
• anyone holding pastoral, teaching, supervisory, or leadership responsibility

It is also strongly recommended for anyone who serves in the Church in any capacity:

• volunteers and ministry leads
• lay catechists and pastoral visitors
• musicians and sacristans
• administrators and online moderators
• anyone involved in youth work, pastoral care, or prayer ministry

Safeguarding competence is not optional for leadership.
