The Statutes and Governance Principles document is one of the core governance documents of the Apostolic Old Catholic Mission. It sets out how the Mission is led, protected, governed, and held accountable.   This official document covers the role of the Rector, the Mission Council, safeguarding, formation and incardination, discipline, apostolic succession, authorised ministry, ecumenical relationships, legal administration, finance, records, and the responsible use of the Mission’s name and identity.   The Statutes reflect the Mission’s commitment to accountable leadership, valid sacramental order, pastoral inclusion, careful formation, safeguarding, transparency, and responsible growth within the independent sacramental tradition.   This document is especially useful for prospective clergy, formation candidates, ecumenical partners, local communities, and anyone who wants to understand how the Mission is ordered and protected.   This document is protected: © 2026 Apostolic Old Catholic Mission NPC, for the Apostolic Old Catholic Mission.
